Roderick van Hasselt is a visual artist & Rotterdam (marine) pilot.  Photography was there from an early age and he printed analog for a while in the early ’00. Later he switched to digital photography and in 2020 he discovered screen printing as an alternative means to print his photographs. He is a member of Mesh print club, Rotterdam and did a residency at graphic studio Gate44, Milan in November 2025. Roderick likes to experiment with colour profiles creating a rich colour experience with a minimal palette, using 2 or 3 layers in his screen prints. Main subjects are patterns from nature and maritime images.
